Sogwipo, Jeju Island, South Korea - Anti-trade agreement protests in Sogwipo have intensified. On the third day of demonstrations a farmer drove a truck into a crowd of riot police. Another 43-year-old farmer is in a coma after he tried to force his way through a police barricade made out of shipping containers with a truck. Police fought back rock throwing and stick wielding demonstrators with their riot shields, batons and water cannons. A number of protester have been injured, some seriously.
