Santiago, Chile - 20 cops were injured and 262 people arrested as striking students threw rocks at police, broke windows and looted stores before being dispersed with water cannons and tear gas. Close to a million youth in Santiago and 14,000 in Valparaiso participated in marches calling for free bus fare and various improvements to the educational system.
